Guests from all countries are welcome unless otherwise specified by the Sri Lankan government or by the guest’s country of origin.
Will there be a dedicated medical officer at the hotel?
Yes, there is a medical officer on call at the resort, and a nurse is available at the spa from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
What is the nearest airport to the resort?
The nearest international airport is Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport, approximately 1 hour away. Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Colombo is around 2.5 –3 hours away via highway.
What is the nearest train station to the resort?
The nearest railway station is Beliatta Train Station, located about 20 minutes from the resort. Train services connect to Colombo and other major cities.
Which is the nearest national park to Anantara Tangalle?
The closest national parks are: Udawalawe National Park (approximately 2 hours away) and Yala National Park (approximately 2.5 hours away) Both parks offer incredible wildlife experiences, including elephants and leopards.
Are all rooms non-smoking, or do you have smoking rooms available?
All rooms at Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle Resort are non-smoking. However, designated smoking areas are available within the resort for guests who wish to smoke.
Is the resort family-friendly?

What is your child policy?
Children under 5 years old stay free of charge when sharing existing bedding with parents. Baby cots are provided free of charge, subject to availability.
Extra beds are available upon request at an additional charge, subject to availability.
Children aged 6–11 years are charged 50% of the extra person surcharge.
The resort offers kid-friendly menus, babysitting services (on request), and a Kids’ Club for entertainment.
Teens aged 12 years and above are considered adults and will be charged the full extra person rate when requiring an extra bed.
